In-house machining bench
Bore, hone, deck, valve grinding — we own the mills and we run them. Nothing sits at a third-party shop for two weeks waiting on someone else’s queue.
IMI-accredited techs only
Every technician on the floor is IMI ATA-Master accredited, TechSafe registered, and Level 4 diagnostic certified. Your car is diagnosed by someone who’s built the exact powertrain before.
Dyno-verified before pickup
Every rebuild spends a session on our load-bearing dyno. You see the pulls, the AFR trace, the coolant map. No handshake deals.
Priced in the estimate, not the invoice
Flat-rate quote after diagnostics, itemized to the gasket. If a bore comes back oversized mid-teardown, we call before we cut.

Intake & diagnostic
Drop-off or recovery. We scan, listen, pull compression & leak-down, borescope the cylinders, and write it up. £89 — credited if you book the work.
Written estimate
Line-item quote, photos of what we found, options ranked (patch, refresh, full rebuild). You approve in writing before a bolt turns.
Build, dyno & deliver
Teardown, machine, assemble to spec, break-in on the dyno, road-test 40 mi, and hand you the keys with the build sheet and torque log.
Two main dealers said replace the block. Divbooks pulled it, showed me a scored cylinder, honed it, and had my ’09 M3 back on the road in eleven days for a third of the price.
